Psittacisme



Je ne sais pas si cela remontera le moral sur les candidats du PS, mais cette vidéo du nouveau dirigeant du Parti travailliste Ed Miliband depuis septembre dernier montre quelqu'un de très mauvais au minimum sur la forme. Ed Miliband était soutenu par les syndicats et les ailes moins blairistes. [Son frère blairiste David Miliband attend maintenant de se poser comme plus critique pour profiter de son discrédit.]

Sans doute à cause de sondages, Ed critique la grève des enseignants britanniques parce que les négociations ont encore lieu (alors que les grèves sont justement une réaction au fait que les décisions du gouvernement ont été annoncées avant la fin des négociations) et il le fait par une phrase sans originalité qu'il répète mot pour mot à chaque question. 6 fois de suite :

Ce n'est pas qu'un manque de préparation (malgré la paresse légendaire de Miliband) mais un effet pervers du "message" pour télévision. Milliband veut à tout prix que cette petite phrase soit conservée et citée telle quelle par le journal de la BBC et il la ressasse donc comme un robot. Comme dit Kevin Drum, on a l'impression que si le journaliste lui demandait ce qu'il avait mangé au déjeuner, il répondrait qu'il est contre les grèves pendant les négociations mais que les deux parties ont des tort.
