As you know, the Daily Show has a new site of complete archives. It is more convenient than the old Comedy Central site but there are even more ads.
One of the things that really struck me was the 2000 coverage (Jon looked sooo young!) and that joke by Colbert on November 2000, trying to predict the future of the Presidency:
"I'm getting a 'Nam vibe -- un-winnable wars, inescapable downward spiral, chaos in the street -- with this election."
Frigtheningly accurate.
Except the chaos in the street (ok, there was NOLA and Katrina but this is too vague).
